At Launch Labs, innovation is more than a value. It’s a daily commitment to making our tools better, smarter, and easier to use. We focus on minimizing friction while maximizing the effectiveness of everything we build.
This commitment shows up in the details. We believe that technology should support the user experience, not interrupt it. Our tools are designed to operate in the background, delivering powerful results without disrupting the flow of a visitor’s time on site.
One area we’ve consistently found problematic is the geolocation popup. You’ve probably seen it—“This website wants to know your location.” It’s jarring, unexpected, and often creates a negative first impression. From day one, we’ve viewed this as an unnecessary hurdle for visitors and an avoidable point of friction.
We’re pleased to share that our technology has evolved. That popup is no longer required, and we’ve removed it completely. Our latest update allows us to maintain the same high level of identity resolution accuracy without needing to trigger a location access request.
What this means for our customers is simple. You’ll still see all the benefits of precise identity recognition and strong visitor engagement. The only thing that’s changed is the experience for your users, who will no longer be interrupted by an annoying prompt the moment they arrive on your site.
This improvement is one of many in our ongoing mission to make Launch Labs tools smarter, smoother, and more respectful of the user journey. We’re excited to keep pushing forward and delivering solutions that drive results without getting in the way.
